| ChainofBeads.com is an online store created from the result of my passion on beaded jewelries in late 2004. Like many ladies all over the world, I am crazy over accessories like anklets, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. Overtime, I developed a keen interests to design my own accessories using mainly semi-precious and gemstones.

Who run Chain of Beads?

| Izel Ang designs and handmade all the jewelleries, teaches individuals whom are interested to learn the art of jewellery making, source my own materials, responses and talks to the customers, takes all the pictures, markets the brand name and updates the blog. And finally with the help of my hubby, both of us run and design the website. |

Do you custom make jewelries?
|
Yes. Chain of Beads welcomes all customizing orders. I understand you might be looking for one of a kind piece to own and treasure.
Customized work at Chain of Beads is a carefully communicated process from start to finish that will build your trust, confidence and excitement to create something that is uniquely your own.
However, it also depends on the complexity of your desired design and material required. There shall be no obligation to accept an order if it is beyond my ability.

Do you have a place where I can view the materials before I finalize the design for custom made?
|
I am sorry that there is no venue for viewing. Custom made designs at Chain of Beads are communicated via emails, where the customer can send pictures of similar design ideas over. I will try my best to respond with recommendation mock-ups, filling in all details such as type of clasp used and final length.
Once both parties finalized, the jewelry will be made and delivered via SingPost.

What kind of payments do you accept?
|
For international customers, Paypal is widely used and is available at Chain of Beads.
For local customers, ATM transfer and Cheque payment are also accepted.
Bank account details will be provided upon successful order processing.

How do you wrap your jewelry to ensure its gets to me intact during the deliver process?
|
|
All jewelries are checked, carefully bubble wrapped, packed into a box, bubble wrapped again before packing into an envelope. This will minimize any unnecessary damage during handling at your local or overseas post office.

What happens if I received damaged jewelry through the post? Do you offer repair service?
|
|
While all effort has been taken care to ensure that all packages are properly packed, at times there could be mishandling by the SingPost during delivery.
I will offer one-time repair free of charge. Any damage must be informed within 3 days from your receipt of package. Please take note that goods sold are not exchangeable, returnable or refundable.
Upon notice, you will be request to post the jewelry back to get it repaired. Once it is done, I will post it back to you, at no extra cost.

How should I take care of my jewelry to prevent tarnish?
|
In order to maximize the use of your jewelry, please refrain from exposing it to soaps, detergent, powder, sprays and perfume. If you can, take them off when you reached home and store them into a zip lock bag, pouch or drawer.
You should also use a soft cotton cloth or tissue paper to wipe your jewelries after each wear.
All handmade jewelries are delicate so try not to rough handle them.

Do you offer consignment stock to boutiques?
|
If you wish to carry my line of jewelry, I will be delighted to explore the possibility of designing a collection exclusive to your boutique.

How do I order offline?
|
|
To place an order offline, please send me an email with the item number(s), description(s), and quantity that you wish to order. I will get back to you with more details on order processing and payment method.

Chain of Beads shops everywhere! From overseas online sites to the beading shops locally, anything fancy that catches my eyes.

Beading classes

What is included in the class fee?
|
|
Your fee includes instruction, use of tools, use of beading board and beads and finding materials for the class. Students may purchase tools and beading board during their class. However, if the student do not want to commit first, pliers and beading board are provided for their use during the class.

I have not taken a class with Chain of Beads before. What classes are good for beginners?"
|
Chain of Beads offers two great basic classes: Basic Stringing and Basic Wirework. They can be taken in any order. In each class, students will be able to understand and learn the various methodologies available to make their own beaded jewelries.
They can choose to move onto the Intermediate level later on.

What makes Beading Classes with Chain of Beads different from beading classes offered by others?
|
Beading Classes with Chain of Beads is a schedule tailored around you. There will be no more planning around work, school or worrying about getting that specific class.
Just pick from the list of classes available and choose your date and time. Details will be followed up via email or phone calls.
For a start, here are some of the timeslot available:
- 10:30am to 12:30pm
- 1:30pm to 3:30pm
- 4:30pm to 6:30pm
- 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Yes, anytime if you have any questions regarding Beading or the skill you learned during the class, feel free to write to me and I will try my best to answer to your need.

Where is the class held?
|
|
Beading classes are held at my premises. I reside in Yishun Central and it is only within 3 minutes walk from Yishun MRT Station. However, I also conduct beading classes at Corporate and public places. If you are interested in a class and would like to know about my schedule, feel free to write to me to find out my schedule for the next 2 months.
